The Adventure Book guides the family through a themed learning experience.
Inside, families discover connected missions, stories, questions, hands-on projects, creative activities, movement, family adventures, community outings, and opportunities for reflection.
It provides a path to follow—without requiring every family to explore in exactly the same way.
THE EXPLORER PASSPORT
The Explorer Passport belongs to the child.
It is a personal place to collect stamps and stickers, record discoveries, remember special outings, add drawings or photographs, and celebrate proud moments.
Rather than guiding only one theme, the Passport can travel with the child through many Brightwood adventures.
TOGETHER
The Adventure Book helps families decide where the adventure can go.
The Explorer Passport preserves what the adventure meant to the child.
Together, they turn learning into an experience children can participate in, remember, and feel proud of.

The Explorer Passport is the child’s personal record of their Brightwood journey.
Unlike an Adventure Book, which guides one themed experience, the Passport travels with the child across many adventures. It gives them a place to record where they went, what they discovered, what they tried, and which moments mattered most to them.
Each Explorer can make the Passport their own by adding:
Stamps from clubs and community adventures
Stickers celebrating effort and growth
Drawings, writing, and photographs
Favorite discoveries and activities
Field-trip memories
Personal goals

Flexible by Design
Children do not all learn in the same way, follow the same schedule, or connect with the same activities. Brightwood Adventure Books and Explorer Passports are designed with real children and real family life in mind.
One child may fill a page with drawings. Another may dictate a story, collect a stamp, act out an idea, build a model, or simply talk about what they noticed.
Each of these can be a meaningful way to participate.
PARTICIPATION CAN LOOK DIFFERENT
Brightwood does not expect children to complete every activity or page. The materials provide possibilities while families decide what feels appropriate for their child’s age, interests, abilities, energy, and support needs.
