Every Explorer Learns Differently

Brightwood Adventure Levels are based on how children participate—not their age or grade. Families may choose the level that best fits their Explorer’s current interests, skills, confidence, and support needs.

YOUNG EXPLORERS

Playful, hands-on adventures with simple directions, visual activities, early-learning practice, movement, creativity, and opportunities to work alongside a grown-up.

GROWING EXPLORERS

Adventures with more reading, writing, problem-solving, independent choices, and opportunities to investigate ideas more deeply.

INDEPENDENT EXPLORERS

More detailed adventures that encourage research, planning, extended projects, thoughtful reflection, and greater independence.

These levels are flexible, not rankings. An Explorer may enjoy activities from more than one level or choose different levels for different subjects.

Every Explorer deserves an adventure that meets them where they are.
